Ever since an early age, I knew creating art was the only thing that I wanted to do and that always made me happy. Even when scolded for drawing on walls and furniture, I would prove that my determination to be an artist was unwavering. I tried to do what I was told by my pears, and study in college for a job or suitable career. It took until my senior year in college to realize that I would spend the rest of my life being miserable if I kept working towards the direction that others wanted me to pursue. I wasn’t as concerned about making large amounts of money as I was concerned about being happy. I dropped out of college where I was studying to be a foreign interpreter with a minor in archeology and anthropology. Year’s past, I got my bearings, then I returned to college to pursue my own path. I graduated with my associates in studio art, a bachelors in 2-demensional studio art, a bachelors in 3- dimensional studio art, a masters in studio art, and a minor in art history. I learned I was addicted to learning when it was a subject I loved. I continued to earn a diploma in digital marketing, and a diploma in blogging & content marketing. For a couple years, I still fell into the slump of working jobs to pay for living and my education. I continued spending my spare time doing Art. I even picked up a second job teaching painting at Pinots’ Palette. Until 2020, I decided to blindly quit my job as an office manager and pursue my dreams. Little did I know, the pandemic would make that decision an unsurmountable feat. Now, here we are. I am still giving my dream everything I have, while refusing to give up. Little by little, I am building my world, ruled by art, filled with beautiful things and beautiful people that appreciate my creations. Come let’s explore Artocrysty together.
